Q6 Cyber is looking for a Cloud Support Engineer to join our growing team in Atlanta, GA. The Cloud Support Engineer’s primary responsibilities include day-to-day operations, management and support of cloud services and on-prem technical support. This individual will work closely with Q6 employees in various remote locations. Serve as a subject matter expert contributing to a wide variety of tasks/projects in support of the enterprise. Additionally, provide technical support of existing resources in the cloud and engineering new solutions while ensuring existing platforms remain stable and accessible. Provide expertise of secure device management roll-out, approved applications and RBAC.

  • Manage aspect and support of Q6 resources and end-users
  • Produce easy to understand how-to guides for frequently encountered scenarios
  • Troubleshoot to detect and solve technical issues
  • Evaluate, test and install critical updates
  • Contribute to future planning, implementation and support of emerging cloud and on-prem technologies
  • Integrate solutions into existing infrastructure and help deploy solutions that meet business and technical requirements
  • Review current technologies, tools and services to make recommendations for their use based on security/compliance, financial and operational criteria
  • Contribute to providing audit proof of operations when needed
  • Assist with cyber security investigations when needed

  • Overall Experience in a Technical Role, support capacity
  • Experience assisting end-users in a remote environment
  • Desktop/End User Support (Mac and/or Linux)
  • End User Security Setup & Support
    • Experience with Mobile Device Admin Management
    • Certificate based authentication
    • IAM Policies & Roles
    • RBAC
  • Knowledge of Linux and basic scripting (bash, python)
    • Creating scripts and/or maintaining/troubleshooting scripts
  • Knowledge of basic networking concepts
    • Able to troubleshoot network related issues

Nice to have
  • Basic knowledge in Cloud Computing, Automation, Containers and Security (Ansible, Kubernetes, Docker, etc)
  • Experience working with support or change ticket based systems
  • Alerting and monitoring response
  • Good overall communication skills
  • Technical troubleshooting skills
  • Google Cloud Platform experience
  • Identity Provider and SSO knowledge
