Director, Sales

Q6 Cyber is a fast-growing, innovative threat intelligence company. We are recruiting a top-performing Sales Director. This position is right for a highly driven individual experienced in selling cybersecurity or fraud prevention products who can take advantage of the enormous market opportunity and our strong reputation. The Sales Director may also have the opportunity to build and manage a sales team across multiple territories.

The Sales Director will perform the following duties:

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
  • Own and hit/exceed annual sales targets.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
  • Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives.
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations.
  • Understand category-specific landscape and trends.

The ideal candidate should possess the following:

  • Proven sales experience, consistently exceeding targets.
  • 7+ years of experience as a sales executive, sales manager, or sales director of cybersecurity or fraud prevention solutions to financial institutions and/or ecommerce companies.
  • Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level.
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
  • Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services.

Analyst, Threat Intelligence (Miami, FL)

We are recruiting an analyst in the Miami office. This is an exciting opportunity for an analyst to join a premier team in one of the fastest-growing industries. No prior experience in cybersecurity or intelligence is required. Rather, we are seeking an individual with a sharp, analytical mind who is highly motivated and eager to learn new skills.

The Analyst will participate in the full lifecycle of intelligence production – from collection to analysis and through reporting. The Analyst will perform the following duties:

  • Identify and evaluate new data sources.
  • Conduct web-based research on “open” sources as well as the Darknet, Deep Web, and other restricted information sources.
  • Develop and execute advanced analytics using our proprietary intelligence platform.
  • Make fact-based assessments on a wide range of threats and risks affecting our clients.
  • Generate intelligence reports and other deliverables.
  • Regularly engage with clients to deliver intelligence and make recommendations.

The ideal candidate should possess the following:

  • 3+ years of work experience in an analytical role (e.g., financial analysis, research, business intelligence). Preference will be given to candidates with experience in anti-fraud, cybersecurity, or threat intelligence operations.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • High level of interest in combating cyber crime and fraud.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • English language is required; Knowledge of Russian, Spanish, Portuguese, Mandarin, or other languages is a plus.

Junior Data Scientist

We are recruiting a committed detail oriented developer / engineer to assist with normalization, loading, and analysis of complex data sets. This detail oriented work is critical to helping us ensure we have extracted all usable intelligence from a data set. Our analytics platform produces a large amount of valuable, actionable, intelligence, and getting good data into the system is a critical part of that process. At Q6 we are using the latest technologies and are looking for a candidate who wants to explore the edge of the possible and find creative solutions to difficult problems.   • Reverse Engineer data files, formats, and schemas.
  • Format records according to a standard format and output well formed JSON to an ingestion service.
  • Develop additional tools to automate the ingestion of common formats.
  • Review data ingestion systems, ensure adequate performance, and perform optimizations wherever possible.
  • Develop unique insights into the data sets after ingestion.
  • Assist the intelligence analysis team with maximizing the customer value from ingested data.
  • Ensure data loading tools are developed and maintained according to best practices.

Lead Java Software Engineer

We are recruiting an experienced Java developer to lead Java development on our cyber analytics platform. We are committed to developing a leading edge system based on the latest web-scale data collection, analysis, and storage technologies. We are building a flexible platform that can support multiple business offerings and are looking for a candidate who wants to explore the edge of the possible and find creative solutions to difficult problems.   • Develop distributed applications in a JVM based language using industry-standard frameworks.
  • Mature our existing capabilities and play a critical role in designing and building our production level, web-scale cyber analytics platform to meet our discovery, collection, analysis, and reporting requirements.
  • Evaluate and help select the core technologies needed to build out the platform.
  • Work closely with executive leadership, application development teams, and intelligence analysts to ensure that requirements and needs are being met.

  • Deliver distributed scalable microservices based applications developed within a polyglot development environment with a core focus on Java / JavaScript / Scala / Groovy, and other JVM languages.

  • Development in a Linux / open source, cloud based, environment integrating external and internal APIs through JSON.

  • Strong team and interpersonal skills along with the ability to work independently and achieve individual goals.
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
  • Skilled at WEBINT operations.
  • High level of interest in combating cybercrime and fraud.
  • Can-do attitude.
  • Knowledge of Russian, Spanish, Portuguese, Mandarin – big advantage
